Get the Look {Superga, Edgars & Theirry Lasry}

I am pretty much completely obsessed with what Superga are doing at the moment. I have to be honest, if you had asked me 5 years ago if I would ever own a pair of Superga’s I may have laughed at you. Today, however, is a different story. I can’t seem to help myself every time I visit one of their stores. I need them ALL!

My staple go-to outfit at the moment is my platform Superga’s, ripped jeans (from Lucky Brand, Edgars), a chunky knit and my Thierry Lasry sunglasses (more on these beauties further down). Even though it sounds rather casual, when it’s put together it can look super-chic, especially when you add a black coat or a more formal shirt, and obviously Theirry Lasry sunglasses round any outfit off perfectly!

The Superga collaborations are what initially caught my attention, especially their more recent one’s with bloggers like The Man Repeller and The Blonde Salad – not to mention their collaboration with Versace! But I will speak about those at another stage… They’ve collaborated with the coolest of the cool like Alexa and Ashleigh and Kate and these limited edition collections make Superga shoes rather addictive, hence my shoe wardrobe over-flowing at the mo.

Then, on a super luxury note, I am sure you have all seen my (over) excitement with regards to my newest pair of Thierry Lasry sunglasses. These are the ‘Lively’ frame which is one of their top-sellers and I just adore them. They are super comfortable on the face and ooze style.

For those who don’t know, Thierry Lasry is a super-luxury eyewear icon who has a Dad who was an optician and a Mum who was a designer – match made in heaven! What I love most about the brand is that they are so understated with little-to-no branding on them, just superb craftsmanship!

I am pretty sure, like me, you have seen these sunnies all over Pinterest as they have a real cult following amongst celebs like Dita von Teese, Anne Hathaway, Miley Cyrus, Rhianna, Lady Gaga, J-Lo, Madonna and Alessandra Ambrosio (to name a few). With sleek styles that incorporate vintage and avant-garde elements, Thierry Lasry defines exquisite craftsmanship and timeless glamour.

The Lively, which is actually names after Blake Lively, is such an easy-to-wear frame and comes in a variety of colours. Each month I will be chatting about a different from Theirry Lasry so you will be able to see what other styles they have on offer. I also just had to share some other pieces I have loving from Edgars, aside from thier awesome denims, They have such an awesome selection of high-fashion pieces in their Free2BU range at the moment. I picked up a coral shift dress from Topshop a few years back which I love for work and have never found a good replica, until I came across the below one in pink from Free2BU – it fits perfectly and has a beautiful gold exposed zip at the back – siumple and flattering!It was R399.95.

The other two pieces I didn’t buy for myself (as think I am getting a tad old for this sort of thing) but loved them so much and think they would look great on lots of girls. The one is the cute lips cardi and the other was this set of monochrome heart skirt (R179.95) and crop top (R129.95). How cute>!
