Lush in South Africa

I am so over excited. Another of my all-time favourite brands has arrived in South Africa. I swear this feels like Christmas – first Kiehl’s, then Stila and now Lush. Honestly, if someone had told me a few years ago that I could get these products at home, I wouldn’t have believed them.

This shop smells heavenly, and for those who don’t know the brand – hurry up and get to the V&A asap! The store is set out beautifully and the shop assistants are fabulous, the only problem you going to encounter is choosing what you want!  I headed down to the store today and as I type this review I smell unreal – vanilla and honey mixture!

Absolutely everything in the store is made of the most heavenly fresh, natural ingredients (some of which is even made in a kitchen at the back)! I have such a long list of products I want from there as have heard so many great reviews of their shampoo bars, fresh blueberry face mask and soaps. I left there with two favourites (and a few presents for friends). I got some Honey I Washed The Kids soap which smells edible. It’s a honey and milk soap that is one of their best-sellers and makes your entire bathroom smell delish. I also got an old favourite of mine; the vanilla fountain bath bomb. This is right up my alley and smells so amazing.  Other products I’m keen on trying…

Melting Marshmallow Moment – for that hydrating, milky bath treat.
Fresh face masks – these are all made at the store and have to kept in the fridge – they last for 30 days and feel great on the skin.
Oatfix – this face mask sounds like the perfect one for my skin.
The soap slabs where you can choose how much you want and they weight it for you.
The beautiful bath bombs
This scrub for the face felt really abrasive – the perfect detox for dry, neglected skin.

It's right near the Body Shop in the Waterfront. Trust me, you will smell it when you are close 🙂 It's great!

I also love the store, especially their toner water. I've tried the Melting Marshmellow bath bomb – it's really great but the bubbles don't last all that long. Their butter bomb is probably my favourite. I have a glitter Space Girl Bath Bomb to try out next 🙂

Witch toning water did you get, I'm keen to get one but when I sprayed the tester the actual spritzer was awful? Yes, marshmallow melts aren't supposed to be bubble they told me – it's more like a milk, hydrating bath treatment. The other actual bubble bombs are for bubbles 🙂 I feel like buying a bunch of bath bombs as scents for my home haha 🙂
