Product Rave: Redken Soft Shampoo & Conditioner

For anyone who follows my blog they will know that I have been on a mission to find the perfect shampoo and conditioner for way to long now. I don’t dye my hair so it is very low maintenance, but being super long, I need to keep it looking healthy and silky. Previously I have used Frederick Fekkai Glossing Shampoo (Woolies R250, bottle still in my shower – not a fan), Bumble & Bumble NY (London/USA, R180, still have both of these but the gorgeous smell fades, leaving you with a bang average shampoo, nice conditioner though and love packaging) and lastly Kerestase. This is the longest standing one, but I have been changing from range to range within Kerastase feeling a bit unsatisfied – they feel nice, yes just nice, but I can’t justify spending R235 on a shampoo that certainly doesn’t blow me away.

My sister got back from New York with a Redken Soft kit including the large shampoo, large conditioner and an anti-frizz cream. How lucky am I!?

I am obsessed!! It smells amazing and all-hair-salon-like and leaves my hair looking so silky and smooth. I have definitely found a range that I am more than happy to re-purchase, plus it’s cheaper at R190 for shampoo and R220 for conditioner.

What is your best shampoo/conditioner?
