What a way to start december holidays!!!
We had an early christmas dinner with good friends last week – we split the menu, with me doing starters.
Decided on doing two Italian anti-pasto platters with melba toasts on the side. I did mini mozzarella skewers, param ham and melon pieces, gherkin and chorizo pieces etc – The ingredients were as follows:
- Mozzarella balls
- Sun-dried tomatoes (woolies has gorgeous mini sun-dried cherry tomatoes)
- Chorizo slices
- Parma Ham (woolies have a great Italian meat selection)
- Italian salami
- Goats CheeseBasil
- Cherry tomatoes
- Fresh cherries to garnish
- Olives stuffed with feta

Shan did dessert with home-made creme brule’s – amazing!!!!
