Louise Gray for Topshop

One of the things I was really excited to try out was the Topshopmake up collection. It is pretty affordable and there have been rave reviews about some of their products. When I was there the Louise Gray limited edition range had launched so I had loads to choose from, and the packaging from her range left me no other option than to buy as much from her range as possible.

Seriously, the packaging and colours were all just too much for me – think boxes with mint, coral and bits of chunky gold glitz.

I spent ages toying between all the different brights her range had on offer (and left there looking like I had eaten a massive pink ice cream, but anyway). I ended up getting the Barbie pink ‘Legend’ lip stick as well as the bright orange ‘Mexican Wave’.

The lipsticks are £10 each so about R150 which is pretty standard I guess. The colours are all really great and pigmented and also provide great sheen and hydration to the lips. Only problem is that because of the hydration factor the colour fades after about 2 hours – but for me it’s a give or take situation as you are either going to have that problem or going to have dry, chapped lips but a colour that lasts well.

I know these can be ordered online here. I definitely plan on buying more when I head back in December.
