Bring on summer with Ultrasun

Living in South Africa, I have quickly become one of those sun-cream addicts. I apply it all the time, and I don’t care that my face resembles Casper mid-summer – I will be grateful when I am 50. However, a good sun-cream is hard to come by. I am so fussy with what I apply to my skin – it has to be free of that white-zinc like look, it has to be grease free, it has to feel and smell fabulous and not make my eyes water incessantly.

A few weeks ago I got sent Ultrasun and, even though we are mid-winter, I am really enjoying this range. I have actually heard about it before (whilst trawling US and UK beauty blogs) – so was really excited to finally receive it (South Africa is really impressing me with all these awesome brands launching here!) Basically you only need to apply it once, 30 minutes before you go into the sun, and you’re set for the day (even if you go into water). Now, me being the ultimate beauty myth-buster tried this out, and it really did work – I could still feel the product on my skin. It’s a highly photostable formula that is very water resistant, and does exactly as it’s supposed to. They also term themselves as an ‘ultra non-greasy’ formula which absorbs into the skin beautifully – and it does just that. I have the shimmer version for body which I think is really pretty – and I’m sure will look great on tanned skin.

The best news is that you can now buy it in SA – the online shop offers the full Ultrasun range at a click of a button with prices starting at R56.94. To start shopping visit http://shop.ultrasunsa.co.za/

Let the summer countdown begin 🙂

This is exciting! I also hate going into the sun without sun protection on my skin. Can't believe how reasonably priced these are – I am immediately getting the SPF 30 Anti-Aging cream! Thanks for sharing this Victoria! 🙂

Only a pleasure Charlene. I was also pleasantly surprised with the price. It's so often that I fall in love with the product and then have to fall out of love when I see the price. Luckily not in this case 🙂
