Introducing Wella Pro-Series
Two weeks ago I was spoilt rotten by the lovely ladies at Wella – I got news that they were flying me to the launch of their new Pro-Series range in Johannesburg. I packed my incredibly overloaded Mulberry and headed to the airport to catch my afternoon flight.
On arrival I was whisked off on the super-impressive Gautrain – thank God I had a navigator (in the form of a lovely lady named Shelly) as without her I definitely would still be in the arrivals lounge!
I arrived to an event that honestly lived up to every little bit of my expectations (and trust me, these were quite high after travelling cities for a few hours.)
The champagne was flowing (with a little daisy floating in it as a cute touch) and the canapés were out of this world: think satayed juicy fillet skewers, tempura prawns, deep-fried halloumi (Giselle from Elle and Gina, from Glamour’s fave), sushi, incredible spring rolls and, and , and… So obviously I over-indulged.
The setting was gorgeous, and so was the crowd (us Cape Townians could seriously learn how to sport the 6inch heel from the Joburgers!) Once many a glass of delish champagne had been drunk we headed over to the ramp where the models were going to be sporting the latest dresses from top SA designers and, most importantly, the awesome hairstyles and looks that can be achieved with Wella’s new Pro-Series Range.
The evening was hosted by the gorgeous Cindy Nel and the models looked amazing! Following the show, we were all treated to mini stir-fries and delicious home-made chicken and leek pies – as if we hadn’t eaten enough already 🙂
I have recently started using this hair care range (and have been excited to start with it for ages). It is every-inch as luxurious and amazing as the actual launch was – my hair feels silkier and stronger than ever – and I have also been getting a few comments on its shine 🙂
And a little present for me 🙂 |
There is going to be loads to come on Kiss, Blush and Tell with this brand – so keep your eyes peeled!
