Summer Nail Shades I’m Loving

As most of you may well know, I am nail polish obsessed. You will rarely find me without my hands and toes done – it’s my one indulgence (of a few) that I treat myself to every second week and it makes such a big difference with how put together I feel.

Generally I go for Shellac on my hands and toes, but do try and give them a bit of a breather every now and again, and during this time I opt for normal nail varnish.

Below are some of my favourite colours for the warmer summer days with details below.

1) Essie – Saltwater Happy (Summer 2015 Collection)

Love this soft blue on the hands, especially when paired with a summer tan. It’s the perfect balance of blue without being too in your face.

2)Shellac – Field Fox

I’ve had this colour on my hands for 3 applications in a row which makes it 6 weeks and I’m still not sick of it. It goes with everything and is probably my all-time favourite nude from Shellac right now.

3) Morgan Taylor – Colour Me Bold

I love this shade for summery toes. It’s bright, but not neon which I love!

4) Essie – Private Weekend (Summer 2015 Collection)

I am all for white nails and this shade from Essie’s latest collection is white without looking like Tipex on the nails. It also makes any tan look amazing!

5) Shellac – Winter Glow

The name of this shade doesn’t quite work with the title of this post, but I love this soft pink. It’s not overly pinky and girly like Cake Pop, but rather soft and feminine.

6) Revlon Gel Envy – Pocket Aces

The ultimate summer coral! Plus these Gel Envy polishes last really well and are affordable. So beautiful!

7) Essie – Blossom Dandy (Spring 2015 Collection)

When painted on perfectly manicured short nails, this mint shade looks beautiful! A tad more blue in it when compared to the famous Mint Candy Apple. I love it for the summery months!

8) Nails Inc – Porchester Square

If you are looking for the best beigy/nude imaginable then this is your answer. Only issue is the chipping which I battle with when it comes to Nails Inc polishes. May just be worth it though for this shade!

I am besotted with Essie's Private Weekend at the moment – so, so, SO gorgeous! Really think I need to get into the habit of treating myself to Shellac on a regular basis; I am SO bad when it comes to do my nails!

It's my one indulgence every second week and so worth it in my opinion. Makes me feel so much more put together 🙂
