The Ultimate Flower Bomber {Edgars}

I popped into Edgars the other day after seeing a tweet of their’s on their Twitter account with a pic of a flower bomber jacket that I just had to have. I had seen loads of pins on Pinterest from fashion weeks with beautiful floral bomber jackets that were either dressed up with heels or dressed down with sneakers. Also, come mid-winter I end up getting rather bored of my usual navy/black/grey coats, so this is something different. As you will notice, this look is very different from last months items I picked up from Edgars.

The jacket was R599.95 from the Free2BU section and the jeans were R1000 from Lucky Brand. I got the boots at TopShop for R779.

I also decided to pick up a pair of boyfriend jeans from Lucky Brand, for those who’ve missed it you can read this post to know how much I love the fit/style of these jeans! I prefer this jacket for a more casual look, most probably because I very seldom really dress up, and this look would work well for weekends or work. I love these jeans as the wash is really great and they are so super soft – the kind of jeans you could relax on the couch in all day. Below is my favourite look that inspired this purchase 🙂

Vichy Idealia BB Cream – R315 – buy here – this is a new launch and just goes on beautifully with the perfect amount of coverage and ‘glowiness’.

CK One Cream & Powder Blush Duo (in Breath) – R365 – buy here – pretty handy product as it can double up as a lip tint too. I tend to use the powder for my cheeks and the cream blush for my lips. Clinique Airbrush Concealer – R230 – buy here – such a little miracle worked and, in my mind, a cheaper version of the YSL Touche Eclat. Great for under the eyes and any redness. So light and doesn’t sit on the skin looking cakey. Nails Inc Mail Polish (in Haymarket) – R110 – buy here – such a pretty colour, a slightly more duck egg blue polish. Great colour! Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh EDT – R1125 – buy here – an old favourite!
