Wild Olive spoilt me!

As you may have heard by now, Wild Olive has launched a new super-luxury limited edition range. The launch happened last week and was celebrated with nothing less than plenty-a-bottle of Moet (and this is one of the many reason why I love Maria from Wild Olive!)

And, of course, my Instagram sum up of the eve… Note the champagne

The influence behind the collection is our very own Table Mountain, similar to the Flora Capensis scent which I have chatted about quite a bit. The rest of the ingredients used are all indigenous to South Africa which makes it very unique.

One of my favourite parts of this range is the fact that it is all handmade and hand painted by Imizamo Yethu Crafters. You have to see this for yourself, as I don’t think pictures even do it justice, they really are so beautiful.

As a house warming gift the ladies at Wild Olive presented me with my very own set. I honestly was so taken-a-back. What a treat, and again, thank you!

The range consists of four products, each of which are packaged in a beautifully illustrated box, a 100% porcelain jar with hand drawn gold leaf illustrations and finally a Merino wool felt pouch to protect it (such a luxurious touch):

Shea Body Butter – this is the most incredible body butter. It has the perfect amount of fragrance to it and melts on the skin instantly, leaving it feeling soft and silky with no trace of oil (R835).

Eye Balm – this beautiful product can be used all over the face and on dry lips. It is made up of beeswax, apricot kernels, carrot seed oil and jojoba butter (R675).

Olive Oil Soap & Dish – a seriously indulgent and hydrating soap to keep your hands in tip-top condition (R565).

The Botanical Candle – Smells amazing and burns for up to 50 hours. This jar is beautiful. Like all Wild Olive candles, this wax doubles up as a beautiful massage medium (R875).

I don’t really need to explain to you how incredible this range is, as I’m sure you can only imagine. I think the part that sticks out to me the most is that it has all had so much TLC put into every little bit of the range – something that you can truly feel. There are only 50 of each of these products, so I am seriously happy I am one of those 50 (brag, brag… I know) 🙂

Great job Wild Olive – the perfect Mother’s Day gift! Get shopping here or see stores in Cavendish and Cape Quarter. Please feel free to drop me a mail here and I will happily forward on their pamphlet with more info.
