Radiant Glo {Yardley}

On attempting a beauty-cupboard spring-clean this weekend I ended up getting distracted with brand new products that I haven’t even got around to testing. One that really caught my eye (and has now become a new favourite) is this illuminating cream from Yardley, Radiant Glo.

I think it was the name that originally got me as I love anything that makes my skin look radiant and fresh so started playing around with this in my make up routine straight away and it really is a keeper.The product contains illuminating, light reflecting micronised pigments which obviously give you the glow that we are all after and also has shea butter to nourish and silicones to smoothe the appearance of the skin.

In my day-to-day routine I just wear concealer, a bit of tinted moisturiser and blush/bronzer (have lash extensions so no need for mascara) – once I finished my normal routine I put a pea-sized amount of Radiant Glo on my palms, rubbed palms together and pressed in gently onto my cheek-bones, ridge of my nose, brow bones and forehead. The smell is nothing special, but doesn’t bother me too much.

I love the subtle glow it gives my skin, but definitely is something you don’t want to over-do – especially on older skins as if used excessively it will highlight wrinkles, and obviously use sparingly on oily skin – definitely a ‘less is more’ product, and when used correctly really is amazing.

This product is available at Clicks and Dischem, RRP R100.
