Jean Paul Gaultier: Summer Fragrances
“My collections always feature sailor stripes, corsetry and tattoos.”
– Jean Paul Gaultier
I have always been intrigued by Jean Paul Gaultier’s fragrances – the packaging speaks for itself really – quirky, beautiful and classy.
With the countdown to summer really starting to begin (yay)… this is his newest addition to his range for 2011, the Classique Summer Fragrance once again features rose and orange blossom flirting in the top notes, followed by a burst of Sambac Jasmine and Ylang Ylang middle notes that ripen into vanilla absolute and fresh musk accords.
Le Male Stimulating Summer Fragrance has been revamped and reinforced with fresh notes of lavender, mint and cardamom. This new surge, even more energizing and stimulating than before, is paired with an unaltered base of vanilla, musk and sandalwood – and believe me it smells amazing!!!
Jean Paul Gaultier has always made tattoos a playful feature of his creations – from his shows, collections and, of course, his fragrances.
A bold, yet beautifully feminine fragrance – I will be sporting this all summer long, I can’t wait 🙂
