My Favourite Beauty Dupes: Splurge VS Save

I have to admit, I was one of those make-up junkies that assumed higher price tags meant better products. Yes, this is still often the case, but there are great dupes out there at a fraction of the price. This post is not to say I don’t prefer the high-end product in every case below, but sometimes when the difference is +R250 and you get a close-enough result to the splurge option, then it naturally becomes a front runner 🙂

MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Highlighting Powder in Lighscapade (R350) VS L’Oreal Lumi Magique Pearl Powder (R159.95)

MAC Faux Lipstick (R195) VS Bourjois Rouge Edition 12 Hrs in Prune Afterwork (R129.95)

Stila Kitten Eye-Shadow (R195) VS L’Oreal Color Riche Mono Eye-Shadow in (R99.95)

YSL Vernis A Levres Glossy Stain #15 (R325) VS L’Oreal Shine Stain Splash 102/Romy (R160.95)

Smashbox Color Correcting Primer (R395) VS Catrice Prime & Fine Anti-Red Base (R69.95)

This was an amazing article! So much help. I'm going to buy myself at least 4 of those items now.

Do you know where I can find the Catrice Prime & fine Anti Red Base in Cape Town?
