Mona Lisa Skin & Body Bar

One of the best parts about my blog is the fact that I get invited to new and exciting places that I’m pretty sure I would have never discovered otherwise. Last week I was invited to visit the lovely Lisa-Marie at her at-home beauty salon called Mona Lisa Skin & Body Bar.

She invited me for a mani (Shellac) which was the perfect way to chat to her about her salon and services. The salon is a QMS stockist which is always a selling point for me – any therapist that stocks this range clearly knows what real skincare is about! Oh, and being a Shellac stockist also obviously makes me even happier!

Lisa-Marie studied at Isa Carstens (where I studied) and I have to say that I think Isa therapists are some of the best (I can say that cos I’m not a therapist, so I will gloat on their behalf!). They really know their stuff! I also like the fact that Lisa-Marie is on her own so really gets to know her clients well and understand their exact skin needs.

Her salon is on Kloof Road so you can only imagine the view! It’s such a quiet, tranquil area and very private setting, definitely a salon I can imagine becoming lots of ladies ‘local’ salon – the one you would want to return to over and over again for your monthly treatments (and a chat with Lisa-Marie). On and a side note (and a pretty important detail to highlight) – her prices are seriously amazing, like QMS facials starting from R400!
