My love affair with Clarins continues
You all know how I feel about Clarins and it just keeps getting better. This brand is amazing and I feel like the biggest fool for only waking up to that now, and that’s thanks to you, my readers, who have convinced me to try so many of their great products. It all started with their Beauty Flash balm (read my review here) and put this on your Christmas list NOW if you don’t own it already!
These are a few products I have been trying lately and love, love, love!
Clarins Instant Concealer – R310 (NEW)
This little tube is my new best friend! It aims at reviving, smoothing and concealing and is specifically amazing with dark circles! Its key ingredient is aloe vera which calms and smoothes the skin. It also has caffeine in it which is found in lots of cellulite creams and aims at increasing circulation. Poor circulation is what causes puffy eyes and dark circles so this really works wonders on the eyes.
Clarins Hydra Quench – R495
I wanted to try this as I had heard it is the answer to any dehydrated skins prayers. Initially when I opened the product I though the cream looked way too rich and thick for me but on application in literally melts and disappeared into your skin. Obviously, being Clarins, it smells like heaven and hydrates on another level (excuse the pun). A little goes a long way and really does sink into the skin. I am really loving it and thought that I would want something lighter in summer, but this has been perfect! You can buy it online here.
Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch – R350
This is a little pot of magic that you apply as a primer to the skin. I actually used this on it’s own the other day and had a few compliments on how flawless my skin looked. Three friends have since bought the product! It is basically your skins Pollyfiller and camouflages any enlarged pores, fine lines or redness. It’s also silky smooth so applying your foundation on top of this is lovely. It is a small pot but you really need a teensy bit – less is more here! Buy here.
Clarins Be Long Mascara – R270 (NEW)
I have eagerly awaiting the arrival of this new product as had heard UK beauty bloggers raving about it. The wand is particularly amazing. It nourishes and encourages lash growth as well as curls lashes. It applies super well and coats the lashes in a really richly pigmented colour. (images from A Model Recommends review)
Clarins Rouge Eclat in Nude Rose – R235
This is from a while back but I have rediscovered it of late and just love it. The colour, the texture, the longevity. It also keeps my lips hydrated and is the perfect combination of pigment and gloss. So pretty!
