Exciting news: Wild Olive
For those of you who haven’t recently ventured into a Wild Olive store (Cavendish or Cape Quarter) you are seriously missing out. I love a store that constantly is bringing out new, exciting and innovative products – and Wild Olive is definitely this.
A beautiful pic I saw on one of my favourite blogs, Beatnik Bazaar |
The latest addition to their range is their premium range of soy candles as well as a new range of scents for these candles. The scents are more concentrated and absolutely gorgeous (for lack of a better word). As I have said before, these candles are great when it comes to the scent travelling through your home and they certainly don’t lose this after a month or two. I have had my oldest one for over a year now, and what is left of it still smells heavenly. Remember for those of you who have burnt your candle to its end, you can use the left over wax as a hand cream, massage lotion or cuticle oil – it’s as good as it gets when it comes to hydration.
The new scent Flora Capensis is probably my best – it captures everything that Cape Town is to me as Maria (owner of Wild Olive) has made use of our very own Table Mountain and all the amazing plants that make it ‘home’ to us. It is what I would define as a ‘home scent’ and one that gives a classy, aromatic aroma – perfect scent to burn in your lounge. I cannot wait to use this in my new home!
White Flowers is another scent in their their latest candle collection and I just want every item in my linen cupboard and wardrobe to smell of this – so fresh and pretty. I gave this to my Mum for Christmas and she is a big fan – the perfect scent for your guest bathroom.
Alongside the gorgeous candles was the launch of their bath salts which have taken off really well. The scents, again, are very concentrated and make any regular bath-time an absolute indulgence. A little goes a long way with these and they certainly make the perfect gift for any friend.
I have had quite a few requests in the past from readers as to where they can purchase these products outside of Cape Town, so I am super excited to announce the launch of Wild Olive’s online store. See here. Enjoy the indulgence!
PS – Try out there face mists. I have just finished my second bottle. The spritz is such a treat, especially in this kind of heat. Keeps skin hydrated and fresh!
