Product Rave – Batiste Dry Shampoo
I got introduced to batiste dry shampoo’s when interning at a Beauty and Fashion PR agency and this product one award after award at the annual beauty event (CEWUK). Costing all of £2 I gave it a go and have never looked back (cheesy hey…)
I had been using Bumble and Bumble dry shampoo previous to this which costs around £28 and you can choose according to your hair colour – but this left my hair feeling like I had put super-hold hair spray in and leaving coloured powder all over the show!
Batiste, at a fraction of the price, is a ‘see-through’ powder, dissolving into the scalp and absorbing every bit of oiliness you may have. Another thing i love about this product is that it gives that straightened-hair-after-a-big-night some volume and makes you look deceivingly fresh!
The best news is, for a change, this product is apparently being launched in South Africa at Dischem stores (my favourite!!!). I have had a look but think I may be a bit eager and have to wait a while. Think it’s going for R60 and comes in loads of different ‘flavours’ as well as the newly launched shimmer range, that has had rave reviews. And for those greenies, if you really care, there is the Batiste Nude option which is the pure powder in a non-aerosol can. Hope that works for you…
This sounds amazing, please let us know when its in store so i can get my hands on a bottle!!
LOVE your blog, CAPE TOWN GIRL got nothing on you ! You go Girl !
Thanks for this post Tori!
