SÌ – A new fragrance from Giorgio Armani

I know you are all going to go crazy forthis new fragrance from Armani. 

I was lucky enough to receive a mini travel-size as a trial before this actually arrived in SA which was a treat – it has been coming everywhere with me – I wish I got every scent in a mini size like this too – it’s so easy to take everywhere and anywhere with you! I actually received the full-size yesterday which I’m excited about.

Anyhow, back to this scent. As you may remember, my signature scent that I have been wearing forever is Tom Ford Black Orchid and when I started wearing this one my boyfriend said straight away that this may rival my Black Orchid – it is that amazing.

Armani has said, “Sì is my tribute to modern femininity, an irresistible combination of grace, strength and independent spirit.” The scent is very feminine with a perfecty mix of fruitiness and floral and is said to be ‘when rose meets black’. The three main notes are blackcurrant nectar, modern chypre and light musky wood. Rose de Mai, enhanced by notes of freesia, blends with elegance to bring out a subtle touch of patchouli. A note of blond amber wood, intense orcanox™*, brings out a sensual and warm scent.

Cate Blanchett is the face of the fragrance which I think sums the whole persona of Sì up really well – elegant, nataual charisma and an amazing allure. I also think the bottle just looks spectacular.

I see Armani did a campaign with a few well-known international bloggers where they were asked what defines Sì to them (yes, in Italian).
