Pamper Time @ Mooi
So I decided that I deserved a treat seen as things are getting quite stressful at college with the end of the year creeping upon us, talks of final presentation dates and graduation are all getting a bit much for me – not to mention the terrifying thought of what next year holds for me!
I very spontaneously booked myself a mani and pedi at the lovely Mooi which is opposite Rafiki’s. Being a therapist myself I know I am a painfully scrutinizing client and one that I would most definitely curse, so it is not often that I leave a salon or a spa feeling completely satisfied, whether it be with the treatment or the service – two things that are very hard to get spot on. However I can honestly say that I left Mooi feeling amazing!!!
I had both therapists working on me at once, both the girls were nothing but friendly and professional, making me feel like I really was being treated. They used Essie nail products, which have a great selection of colours. I went for the “mint apple” on my hands and a coral-pink on my toes (forgotten the name). My nails looked like they were gel – painted absolutely flawlessly!
To finish off my afternoon of bliss I was served a delicious coffee and a cute mint green cupcake, to match their gorgeous décor – these were served in antique teacups and saucers – so cute!
The treatment has lasted a good 2 weeks (thanks to amazing Essie)and I cant wait to book again – its always nice when you find a place that you leave feeling you got your moneys worth and more which was definitely the case here, even for a fussy therapist like myself!
