Grosvenor B&B bliss
I mentioned to you in a previous post about my Valentine’s Day surprise I had planned, so the secret is obviously out; I headed off to Simonstown for the night and I can’t even begin to tell you what a treat it was!
We were in the honeymoon suite at the Grosvenor B&B and, I have to say, it was one of the most relaxing weekends I have had in a while (especially with the moving etc). The drive out to that part of the world always gets me relaxed anyway, so it was such a treat knowing that we could enjoy our time there with no rush to get back home.
That eve I had made a booking at Harbour House, which I think is at its best on a clear evening. We were also spoilt to one of the best tables, so had a perfect evening with lots of great food.
The service was great at the B&B, one of those places that feel like a home away from home. Adding to this, it was also really beautiful with great views and attention-to-detail. If you are wanting to spoil yourself, definitely make a booking!
