Neutrogena Bright Boost is here
Say hello to the newest range from Neutrogena. It’s the Bright Boost range – which, as the name suggests, aims to brighten, improve dullness, tackle the early signs of ageing and work on evening out the skin tone.
The key ingredient you will hear me speaking to (as it’s found in 3 of the 4 products in the range) is Neoglucosamine. This star ingredient is a building block of hyaluronic acid which you have all heard me speak about many times on KBT. Neoglucosamine aids the skins natural cell renewal process, revealing fresher, brighter skin. It also plumps and hydrates, so fab for those dreaded fine lines and days when your skin just needs that wake up!
As mentioned earlier, the Bright Boost range is made up of 4 steps:
First up is the Neutrogena Bright Boost Resurfacing Polish. In here you will find mandelic acid and glycolic as well as natural cellulose exfoliators. You will apply this to cleansed, wet skin and gently massage the product in for 1 minute. Rinse and pat your skin dry. They advise using this 1-3 times a week. Not suitable for daily use (no skin needs exfoliation daily).
Next up is Bright Boost Illuminating Serum –a lightweight serum with a high concentration of Neoglucosamine focusing on lightening and brightening the skin. You will also find Tumeric in the serum, to help calm and soothe red marks. This will be used daily, before your moisturiser and can be used day and night.
Then we have your moisturiser, which is the Bright Boost Gel Cream. This is a gel-based moisturiser which sinks into the skin beautifully and quickly. It contains a combination of Neoglucosamine, AHA and PHA (to boost cell turnover).
Lastly, and a personal fave, is the Bright Boost SPF 30 Gel Fluid to protect the skin. Again, you will find your key ingredient as well as Vitamins C and E (an anti-oxidant boost) and Moringa Seed Extract. I love the texture of this formula, it makes for a great pre-make up primer!
I love the how accessible this range is, see below pricing. All products are newly launched in South Africa and available at selected Clicks, Dis-Chem, Foschini and Takelot.
